Youth Football and Cheer Program
If you would like to be considered for either a Cheer Coach of Head Cheer Mom for the 2014 season, download and complete an application telling us a little about yourself and mail it to the address on the form or send by email to email@example.com
The Cheerleading Committee has selected a brand new, up-to-date uniform for our 2014 cheerleaders. The cost of the cheer uniforms will be less expensive than previous years and is paid separately to the Registration fees.
The basic required cheerleader’s uniform, including shoes, will cost $134 (incl. tax). If you decide to order warm-ups, these are optional, and will bring the total cost of the uniform to $187 (tax incl.)
Total Cheerleader fee: registration $250, plus uniform, (either $134 or $187) = $384/$437 depending on whether you include the warm-ups.
Mascot uniforms are new and in line with the cheerleaders. The cost for the uniform is $95 excluding shoes. (Mascots must provide their own solid white tennis shoes.)
Total Mascot fee: registration $250 and uniform $95 = $345.
Cheer uniform fittings will take place during sign ups at the park on the following dates:
Saturday, June 21 from 10 am - 2 pm
Sunday, June 22 from 12 noon - 4 pm
Saturday, July 12 from 10 am - 2 pm
Sunday, July 13 from 12 noon - 4 pm
Payment for new uniforms is made independently of the Club registration fees and cannot be bundled together.

If there are more than thirty cheerleaders per team, there will be try-outs for competition routines.
Please note: No jewelry is allowed during practice or games. Cheer personnel will not be responsible for lost jewelry, so please do not bring it to practice or games.
Teams practice 2 hours per day, 5 days a week through the month of August. (First day of practice is to be announced).
September, October, and November Cheer practice will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays for Mascots, Sr. Clinic, and Gremlins. Tiny Mites, Mity Mites, Pee Wees and Midgets will practice on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Additional mandatory weekend practices are held in October for all cheerleaders participating in the VYC Cheer championships.
If cheerleaders do not complete 20 hours of conditioning prior to the first game they will not be allowed to participate in Cheer Competition.
The number of season games is determined by the Valley Youth Conference and the schedule will be published early in September. When the schedule is available a copy will be provided to all of our parents.
Playoffs are usually on Saturday and competition is on Sunday at the end of October. As the season progresses, your team will be provided scheduling information.
