The Northridge Athletic Club (NAC) is a non-profit 501(C)3 organization that has provided youth sports in the San Fernando Valley since 1962.  The NAC is affiliated with the Valley Youth Conference (VYC) and provides:

Contact Football - ages 6-14 (based on age/weight)

Cheerleading - ages 6-14 (based on age)

Cheer Mascots - ages 2-6

THE FIRST DAY OF PRACTICE IS ON FRIDAY, AUGUST 1.

ALL PRACTICES DURING THE MONTH OF AUGUST WILL BE AT

NORTHRIDGE PARK 

FROM 6:00 PM TO 8:00 PM MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

          LATE SIGN UPS ARE STILL POSSIBLE BUT PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:            

If you missed all of our sign up dates and would still like to participate in our football or cheerleading program, we will accept late registrations on Monday August 4th at 6:00 pm at Northridge Park.  We will not accept any new registrations or fees payable on Friday, August 1, because we will need to devote our attention to organizing the teams and checking physicals of those who have already registered, paid their deposits/fees, and are ready to practice.

 

If you do intend to sign up on August 4th, just remember that your child cannot, under any circumstances, begin practice unless he/she has a completed physical form which is signed and stamped by his/her doctor (a blank physical form is available on our website - click on the "download forms" icon).  You should bring this completed form with you on August 4 in order to participate the same day.

Head Coach Applicants:  If you are interested in becoming a head coach with the Northridge Knights, submit your application to the Northridge Athletic Club by mail to PO Box 280524, Northridge, CA 91324 or send it by fax to 818-678-1584.  If you have any questions please call 818-754 4487 and someone will return your call within 24 hours.

CHEER NEWS for 2008

We are still looking for cheer coaches.  If you are interested, come to sign-ups on Saturday, July 19, or you may call Pam Allison, our Cheer Director, at (818) 365-4841. For information, you may also call the Northridge Knights at (818) 754-4487.

If you are interested in becoming a cheerleader for the Northridge Knights you may sign-up on Saturday, July 19 from 10am to 2 pm.   If you have any questions about the cheer program please call Pam Allison at (818) 365-4841.
